| Chicken stock | 950ml |
| Light oil | 2 tbsp |
| Black pepper powder | 1 tsp |
| Garlic paste | 1 tsp |
| Garam masala | ½ tsp |
| Green chili, (chopped) | 1 |
| Tomato paste | 1 tbsp |
| Quick Oats | 1 cup |
| Chopped tomatoes | 1 can |
| Onion (diced) | 180g |
| Lemon juice | ½ lemon |
| Salt to taste | |
| Dried lime (loomi) | 1 |
| Chopped coriander | 2 tbsp |
Boil Chicken:
In a large pot boil the chicken fillets in 950ml of water with half the garlic paste, salt and pepper and half the garam masala.
Once the chicken is tender remove it from the stock and let both cool.
Prepare Soup:
In a large pot, heat the oil. Add the chopped onion and remaining garlic paste, garam masala, tomato paste, lemon juice and green chilli. Cook until the onions are translucent.
Add the chopped tomatoes and stir.
Add the chicken stock and the Quick Oats. Let it simmer for 15 minutes, occasionally stirring to stop sticking.
Assemble Dish:
Shred the chicken with your hands or with 2 forks and keep on the side.
Once the soup is the consistency you want serve it in a bowl. Add the shredded chicken and chopped coriander.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
