| Lemon, quartered | 1 |
| Fresh rosemary sprigs | 3 |

Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Clean the chicken and remove any excess fat. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
Season the Chicken:
Place the chicken breast side up on a rack over a roasting pan.
Brush melted butter all over the chicken. Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly.
Mix salt, basil, thyme, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture onto the chicken, ensuring even coverage.
Stuff and Secure:
Season the inside of the cavity with a pinch of salt. Stuff the cavity with lemon quarters, rosemary sprigs, and peeled garlic cloves.
Tie the legs together and tuck the wings under the chicken.
Roast the Chicken:
Roast the chicken uncovered at 220°C for 10 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 200°C and continue cooking for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes until the chicken is golden and fully cooked.
Rest and Serve:
Remove the chicken from the oven and baste it with the pan juices. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
Serve with steamed Sadia green beans or mixed vegetables.
