| Sadia Chicken Shawarma | 400g |
| Read-made puff pastry (thawed) | |
| Light oil | 1 tbsp |
| Yellow bell pepper (finely diced) | 40g |
| Red onion (finely diced) | 40g |
| Grated mozzarella | 120g |
| Sesame seeds | 2 tbsp |
| Egg | 1 |
| Water | 1 tbsp |
Prepare Mixture:
In a frying pan on medium heat, add the oil.
Add the onions and cook until translucent.
Add the bell pepper and cook until softened.
Add the chicken shawarma and warm through.
Assemble Dish:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Sprinkle some flour onto your surface and place the dough on it. Cut into 12 equal parts.
Roll each piece into an oval shape, making sure you flour the rolling pin to avoid sticking.
Line a 2 baking trays with parchment paper. Set aside.
Pinch the edges of the dough to make a boat shape. Place the filling in the middle of the oval and then add a sprinkle of mozzarella.
Repeat with all 12 fattayer.
In a small bowl mix the egg with the water and whisk to make the egg wash.
Brush each fatayer with the egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
Bake for 10 to 12 mins until golden brown.
